"All the world’s indeed a stage and we are merely players, performers and portrayers, each another’s audience outside the gilded cage" - Neil Peart

This is my personal tribute to a band that changed my life...

I was born in Brooklyn, New York and then moved to Florida when I was seven and have been here ever since. As far back as I can remember I have always been interested in music in one form or another. Even as a child listening to records on a little record player my parents bought me until I finally got my own tape player when I was ten years old. My first experience with Rush began when I was in 6th garde, just starting middle school, when I purchaed my first Rush album, Permanent Waves in 1980, this would start me on a musical journey that has not stopped to this day. I actually started my instrument playing at a later age then most musicians would begin playing but I had the drive and passion to play music so I bought a bass guitar and joined a band with some friends and started my journey towards becoming a musician. A few years later I decided to learn how to play drums and from then on I would make it my mission to play as best as I can. I have been playing drums for over 30 years and have no plans to stop listening to Rush and playing music any time soon. Thanks Geddy, Alex & Neil.
